Ink Seas--Ancient Orthoceras fossil pendant wrapped in copper
This is a striking, dramatic pendant fashioned from the fossil of an Orthoceras- a squid like creature that roamed the ancient oceans of the Silurian age. They are the ancestors of the modern squid. This piece has been wrapped in copper and features tiny darkly dyed freshwater pearls.
This piece measures at 2 1/2 inches long, and comes suspended on an antiqued copper chain that is 20".
